Limited Edition Glass!
Fenton Gift Shop is pleased to offer a new
selection of Limited Editions! Each piece features a design by
our award-winning Fenton artists, and will be hand painted,
signed, numbered, and dated by the artist. Included in this
grouping are an 11" Jadeite Alley Cat, a 2.75" Ruby Satin
Mouse figurine, a 5.75" Opal Satin Ghost figurine and a 9.5"
Opal Satin Candy Box, each handcrafted by our friends at
Mosser Glass. Also included is a 9.5" Vase made in Opal Satin
by Davis-Lynch Glass. These pieces were made exclusively
for the Fenton Gift Shop, using a Fenton mould, and returned
to our factory where our talented designers created these
wonderful Limited Edition designs!
The green hues of this Jadeite glass Alley Cat
provides the perfect canvas for Robin Spindler's hand painted
design of pandas playing in the bamboo. The pastel green
background complements the vibrant pink stylized flowering
Hibiscus depicted on this 11" Alley Cat. Lush bamboo stalks
with dense foliage encircle the entire figurine.

This Ruby Satin Mouse figurine is cute as a
button and is sure to please collectors of the Fenton animal
figurines! Frances Burton has transformed this figurine into a
girl mouse wearing a pink dotted swiss dress with lace trim
and a matching hair bow. Don't forget that adorable face! Note
the wonderful Amberina effect on the ears and paws! We decided
to name it "Ruby" for the marvelous, rich glass color. Each
Ruby, the Ruby Satin Mouse Figurine is $75.

Robin Spindler continues her "endangered
species" series of hand painted designs. She named this series
"Fading from Memory" and each limited edition piece will
feature an endangered species. The second limited edition
piece in Robin's "Fading from Memory" series is this elegant
Opal Satin vase featuring a black footed ferret.
According to the
World Wildlife Fund, black-footed ferrets are one of the
most endangered mammals in North America and are the only
ferret species native to the continent. Their recovery in the
wild signifies the health of the grassland eco-system, which
they need in order to survive. Black-footed ferrets range in
size from 18-24" in length and weigh about 1.5-2.5 pounds.
Today, the black-footed ferret population is
nearly 300 animals across North America, thanks to the
combined efforts of state and federal agencies, zoos, Native
American tribes, conservation groups, and private landowners.
We think you'll agree that Robin has done a spectacular job
capturing this species in its habitat on this vase! Each

hand painted "Happy Cat-o-ween" Opal Satin Ghost

It was wonderful to see the many visitors and friends who

Thanks to everyone for sharing your "Fenton" memories with
us! Members from all over the country attended the annual
collector conventions for the National Fenton Glass
Society (NFGS) and the Fenton Art Glass Collectors of
America (FAGCA). FAGCA members were treated to a tour of
the factory led by Susan Wilson, who revisited her "tour
guide" days. While on tour, this group encountered master
glass artisan Dave Fetty and company president George
Fenton, and they shared their memories of days gone by at
the Fenton Art Glass Company.
