WILLIAMSTOWN - Fenton Art Glass patrons were
surprised by visiting glass artisan Nathan Sheafor, part-owner of The
Glass Forge Gallery and Studio in Grants Pass, Ore., during the weekend.
Sheafor is known for manufacturing
hand-blown glass in the Venetian style and paired with Fenton USA for the
2008 Fenton Studio Collection for "green" design. Pieces in this
collection have three color treatments and include limited, one-of-a-kind
vases and bowls, which are now available at the Fenton Gift Shop.
"The use of color, movement, form and
composition are key elements in each piece created," Sheafor said.
"(Fenton and I) learned from each other. My experience of the support and
togetherness of the Fenton Art Glass family allowed me to relax and be at
ease with my decisions."
