Fenton Made in America handcrafted Vineyard glass Bead with sterling Silver core (approx. 3/16'') embossed with Fenton USA. Designed by Truda (TJ) Mendenhall and Jena Lane Blair, this bead is included in our handpainted Three Dimensional grouping. The design was inspired by the deep purple hues of vines heavy with grapes. 

Painting with molten glass to create beautiful three dimensional artwork requires a steady hand and keen eye. The bead artisan carefully applies the thread-like strands of glass to the hot bead, being ever watchful not to melt the artwork while maintaining the bead temperature of 900 degrees. Each flower, leaf, animal, or berry is added one at a time and then secured to the bead.Because of the handmade process, bead size may vary from 1/2'' to 5/8'' in diameter.
