Latest Limited Editions from Fenton Gift Shop. . .

Birdwatching is a popular recreational activity for more than 41 million humans. Probably even more cats enjoy observing these feathered friends. Michelle Kibbe's delightful scene on our 11.25" Opal Satin Vase depicts two cats enjoying some armchair "birdwatching" through a window. Those of you with feline pets can probably relate to this familiar scene. The cats observe two chickadees perched at a birdhouse. The other side of this vase features an orange tabby that appears to be checking out something outside. . . perhaps another bird? Ivory colored curtains frame the window scene. Michelle added decorative accents of black and white dots, bold stripes and a plaid motif in hues of lavender, brown and black for the furniture. Each Birdwatching Cats Vase is $200.

This figurine is the perfect companion piece for our Birdwatching Cats Vase. Collectors of Fenton cat figurines will want to add this 5" Opal Satin Stylized Cat Figurine to their collection! Michelle Kibbe hand painted this figurine in a natural orange tabby design. The cat has large golden eyes with fluffy white fur on the chin and chest areas. Each Orange Tabby Stylized Cat Figurine is $95.

Michelle Kibbe's love of nature is evident on her wonderful rendition of a male Wood Duck on this 4.5" Opal Satin Iceberg Paperweight (made by Mosser). The unique head shape, as well as the vivid colors on the bill and body, make for a colorful and interesting hand painted scene on this paperweight. Note those bright white stripes and vivid red eyes.

Did you know. . . The adult male Wood Duck is called a Drake. The Wood Duck is also known as the Woodie, Carolina duck, Swamp Duck, Squealer Duck and Summer Duck. Each Wood Duck Iceberg Paperweight is $80.

Pre-orders for the Birdwatching Cats Vase, Orange Tabby Stylized Cat Figurine and Wood Duck Iceberg Paperweight will be accepted until midnight (ET) on Monday, April 8, 2019. Please contact Fenton Gift Shop at 1-800-319-7793, ext. 342 or email: purchasing@fentongiftshop.com and include the names of the items you want to purchase in the subject line. Above: Kim Barley airbrushed sections of this 6.25" Ruby Satin Tree to create the background for her hand painted design of a fawn. The small deer appears to have just emerged from the woods and is alert and watching while it stands among the white birch trees. Kim added leaves on the ground that encircle this tree figurine. Note the Ruby color showing on the bottom and top of this figurine. Each Fawn & Birch Trees Figurine is $80.

Right and below: Our 2.75" Opal Satin Mouse Figurine is ready to head out to the ball park! Kim Barley's adorned this little figurine in a blue and white baseball uniform with a red number "1" on the pocket, black and white lace up shoes and a red and blue ball cap. Note the red shirt under the uniform top and the red pocket on the uniform pants. As always, Kim added a touch of the whimsical to the face of the mouse, complete with "eye black" just above the whiskers and a smiling expression.

Made from the F1690 Fenton Art Glass mould, this popular figurine went by the 5148 ware# and was available in many colors as far back as the 1980s. Kim hand lettered "LET'S PLAY" on one ear and added a baseball and a box of popcorn on the other ear. Additional photos are shown below. This figurine will make a delightful addition to any figurine collection or a great gift for a baseball enthusiast! Each Let's Play Ball Mouse Figurine is $80.

Kim Barley's hand painted design on our 3.5" Opal Satin Bear Figurine brought oohs and aahs when she brought them into our office. You'll fall in love with those big, brown eyes and that little smile. This figurine has been hand painted to resemble a black bear cub. Kim applied golden highlights around the face and paws. Note the buzzing bumblebee on top of the head. Kim hand lettered the word "Faith" on a wooden log with green leaves curling around the design. This figurine is the second in Kim's series of "Inspirational Message" Bear figurines. The first one, "Believe", was offered in the March 1, 2019 newsletter. Plan to collect all of Kim's designs as they are offered in future newsletters! This figurine is sure to please both the young and young-at-heart. AND. . . if you like this design, there may be more "message bears" from Kim in the future! Each Faith Bear Figurine is $75.

With the elegant shape on this 11" Opal Satin Vase as her glass canvas, Fenton designer J. K. "Robin" Spindler created and hand painted a heartwarming scene of a mother "vixen" red fox with her young kits. The fox family is resting beneath beautiful white dogwood blossoms hanging low in the foreground. These blossoms also provide a lovely background as they encircle the vase. She added blended tones of green and pink to complement the scene.

As always, Robin's work is remarkable for the exquisite hand painted details, especially on the Dogwood blooms and the face of each fox. Note the lush white tail on the Vixen. See additional views below. The mould for this vase originated at Imperial Glass and features raised panels on each side. Each Vixen & Kits Vase is $190.

Did you know. . . Young foxes, known as kits, are born in dens between March and May. As many as ten kits may be in a litter. The mother fox, known as a vixen, makes her own den and may use the same den year after year.

Fenton artist Michelle Kibbe has really given us something to crow about ... this gorgeous one-of-a-kind hand painted Rooster covered box. This covered dish measures 8" long, and it's about 6.5" tall to the top of the Rooster's comb. You'll love those vivid "country colors" ... bright red, crisp green, beautifully blended blue and yellow, etc. Note the decorative hand painted "checkerboard" effect on the edge of the cover and the lush red on the topmost area of the base. Perfect to use to store some Easter treats or to display all year long.

Just in time for the Spring season and Easter time, Fenton artist Michelle Kibbe designed and hand painted this simply adorable one-of-a-kind Egg on Stand (3.75" tall). Those five fluffy yellow baby chicks are a delight to the eye, and we can almost hear their "cheep, cheep." The green leaves and foliage add to the eye appeal of this Egg on Stand ... and don't overlook the daffodils! The base is carefully airbrushed in pink tones, and that color is also seen in the graceful hand painted tulips on the egg itself. Two views of the egg are shown above.
