NEW Limited Editions from Fenton Gift Shop. . .
We are pleased to offer these new Limited
Edition selections for pre-orders. Each piece features a hand

one of our talented designers. These Limited Editions were

Michelle Kibbe likes to showcase animals in her
designs and the English Bulldog was an excellent choice for
our impressive 11.25" Opal Satin Vase. The hand painted
details are so true-to-life that you may want to reach out and
pet this brown-eyed canine! The adorable English Bulldog
design graces the front of the vase and Michelle added
colorful doggie treats by the dog's paws and also on the back
of the vase. Michelle added pinstripe details around the top
of the vase.
Each English Bulldog Vase is $195.
Fenton designer Michelle Kibbe created a lovely
hand painted design of stylized flowers and bluebirds for our
10.5" Opal Satin Hurricane Lamp (includes base). Clusters of
colorful purple and white flowers encircle the 9.125" shade
and a pair of bluebirds perch on a branch. Michelle added
delicate purple pinstripes around the bottom of the shade. The
base has a 1" diameter area suitable for a pillar candle (see
inset photo). A battery operated tea light will cast a soft, warm glow as seen in the photo. This shape has
been included in the Fenton line for many decades, with some
styles dating as far back as 1939. (Second 25 Years,
pages 75 and 98).
Each Bluebirds and Blooms Hurricane
Candle Lamp (tea light included) is $140 and limited to 12.
Kim Barley's delight in creating her popular

a watchful black cat and grinning pumpkins. . . to flying bats,

Fenton Art Glass has developed interesting
products especially for the holidays. Our first Halloween
offerings in 2002 included a Witch figurine designed by
sculptor Jon Saffell (now retired). This Witch has become a
part of the Halloween holiday tradition for many Fenton fans.
Kim Barley loves Halloween and her whimsical
design style suits this 6.25" Opal Satin Witch Figurine.
You'll love all the hand painted details. . . from the stars
and bats and the green witch's hat to the scraggly cats and
smiling ghost. Note the toothy grin on the blue-eyed witch.
The witch's dress is in seasonal colors. Kim hand lettered
"bats and black cats" on the bag, which is topped with stars
and whimsical designs. Each Bats
and Black Cats Witch Figurine is $115.
Here's another "perfect pair" from Robin
Spindler. This pair will certainly start a conversation when
on display in your home! Robin chose a unique bird species
called the "Eurasian Eagle Owl" as her design on our Opal
Two vibrant black, orange and yellow
butterflies grace the back side of this 10.75" vase. Robin
said these colorful butterflies were found in China. She added
a coordinating design on the Opal Satin Owl Figurine.
Additional views of each piece are shown below.
Robin created a nice floral with greenery in soft
orange-yellow hues and a tree background on the vase. An adult
Eurasian Eagle Owl and Owlet are looking out from their tree
nest cavity. Note the large eyes and the large white-tipped
tufts on the adult which make them one of the most striking in
appearance of the owl species.
Each Eurasian Eagle Owl Vase is $160
and is limited to eight vases.
Did you know. . . Eurasian Eagle-owls
are among the world's largest owls with a wingspan of up to
six feet. These owls are fast and powerful when in flight and
can soar on updrafts of air, displaying a type of flight
similar to that of soaring hawks. Eurasian Eagle-owls are
found throughout much of Europe and Asia and in certain parts
of northern Africa.
The 5.5" Opal Satin Owl Figurine features
Robin's life-like rendition of the Eurasian Eagle Owl. Perfect
gift for the figurine collector and as a companion piece for

Here's a splendid one-of-a-kind hand painted
Burmese pitcher (5.5" tall at the top of the handle) from
Fenton artist Michelle Kibbe. This pattern is called "Beaded
Melon" by Fenton glass collectors, and it was first in the
Glass Company line as "711" in the late 1940s. Michelle's hand
painted decoration features lush roses, rosebuds, contrasting
floral accents, and green foliage on each of the vertical
panels for a stunning effect. Burmese glass is a
classic Fenton color, made with pure gold in the batch of raw
materials. Special reheating techniques are needed to create
the distinctive pink blush that collectors love. Note the
graceful applied ribbed handle, also made of
Here's a great chance to acquire a bit of Fenton Art Glass
history. Made from original negatives in the Fenton Archives,
these two 8x10 photos are views of the Fenton Art Glass
factory. One 8x10 photo dates from about 1907, shortly after
the factory was constructed and the company began making glass
on January 2, 1907. The water tanks are in the center of the
photo, and the tall stack above the multi-pot furnace is at
the right (the three small stacks at the far right are above
three small tank furnaces). The company’s office area is on
the extreme left. The other 8x10 photo is an aerial view of
the Fenton Art Glass Co. factory. This photo was taken in the
late 1940s or early 1950s. A tall water tank is in the center
of the photo. The tall stack above the multi-pot furnace and
the surrounding roof area were reconstructed in 1940, shortly
after the original stack had collapsed in June 1940 (the three
small stacks nearby are above tank furnaces). At the time this
aerial photo was taken, the factory was surrounded by fields
(some of which are under cultivation), and various vehicles
are parked along the dirt road in front of the factory. These
8x10 photos of the Fenton Art Glass Company are high-quality
black-and-white prints on a special metallic paper to heighten
Award-winning Fenton artist Kim Barley's talent for the
whimsical knows no bounds, and this delightful one-of-a-kind
hand painted Ghost figurine (5.5" tall) called "Swing among
the Stars" is a perfect reflection of Kim's creativity.
You'll enjoy her depiction of black cats sitting on a swing
amidst a medley of golden stars! Kim began by airbrushing the
Opal Satin glass with a special blue hue to capture the feel
of nightfall. Her hand painted details are simply
wonderful, from the cats' whiskers and curly tails to the grin
and "googly" eyes of the Ghost. This figurine was made at
Mosser Glass, using the Fenton Art Glass mould, exclusively
for Fenton Gift Shop. If a gift for Valentine's Day is in
your plans, don't miss that star with a red heart!
