NEW Limited Editions from Fenton Gift Shop. . .

We are pleased to offer these new Limited Edition selections for pre-orders. Each piece features a hand painted design and will be signed, numbered and dated 2018 by one of our talented designers. These Limited Edition pieces were handcrafted by Mosser, using Fenton Art Glass moulds, exclusively for the Fenton Gift Shop. The elegant shape and tall size (10.75") of this Opal Satin Vase provides a perfect canvas for a hand painted design by Michelle Kibbe.

Two ruby-throated hummingbirds hover near lush pink blossoms seeking nectar. Michelle has captured the jewel-tone colors of these petite birds.

This lovely design encircles the vase and Michelle created delicate accent bands in pink and green. Petite purple and white flowers grace lower half of the vase and Michelle included small rose bud accents on the top section.

Each Ruby- Throated Hummingbirds Vase is $150.

Did you know. . . Male ruby-throated hummingbirds have a striking red throat, though the female does not. These speedy birds beat their wings 53 times a second and can fly in an acrobatic style, hovering often and flying upside down and backwards. Ruby-throated hummingbirds can fly straight at a speed of 25 miles per hour, and as fast as 40 miles per hour during courtship dives.

Kim Barley created a calico cat design on our 5" Stylized Cat Figurine with hues of dark orange, charcoal and white. Note the tiny "pawprint" on the cat's shiny gold collar and those emerald-green eyes!. A sleepy gray mouse snuggles under a Christmas tree topped with a golden star.. It looks as if it is curled up in the cat's tail! Each Sleepy Mouse Stylized Cat Figurine is $95.

The Alley Cat is among the most collectible and popular items in Fenton history since it was first made in 1970. Fenton collectors just can't seem to get enough of the Alley Cat's mischievous grin!

Robin Spindler recalled fond memories of bygone days spent with her siblings to create this "Snow Fort" design on our 11" Cobalt Alley Cat Figurine.

Her hand painted details are simply marvelous. . . from the sturdy, igloo-style snow fort with a tiny brown rabbit peeking out of the entrance to the children playing about the scene.

The three children depicted in this scene are warmly dressed, each in a colorful jacket with the hood pulled tightly around the face. They appear to be preparing for an upcoming snowball fight! Snowballs are stacked near the snow fort. A tall green pine and rail fence are in the background.

Each Snow Fort Alley Cat Figurine is $185 and limited to 12.

Pre-orders for the Ruby Throated Hummingbirds Vase, Sleepy Mouse Stylized Cat and Snow Fort Alley Cat Figurines will be accepted until midnight (ET) on Monday, November 26, 2018. Please contact Fenton Gift Shop at 1-800-319-7793, ext. 342 or  email: and include the names of the items you want to purchase in the subject line as well as your full name and daytime phone number so we may follow-up on your request.

Some of you may take a trip down "memory lane" when you gaze upon this Chessie Cat Covered Box. Handcrafted in Opal Satin, this 8" set features a wonderful hand painted design by Michelle Kibbe featuring vintage toys. You'll see a teddy bear, spinning top, wooden drum, and a jack-in-the-box. You'll NOT see a computer, iphone or headphones! Michelle transformed this Chessie Cat into an orange tabby kitten snuggled underneath the Christmas tree. Colorful red ornaments dangle above the kitten and toys. Michelle created a lovely holly and berries motif on the lid (see top right photo).

"Chessie" was a popular cat character used as a symbol of the Chesapeake and Ohio Railway. They used this artwork with their slogan that when traveling on their railway you would "sleep like a kitten". Fenton created this item especially for the Chesapeake & Ohio railway company. Each Vintage Toys Chessie Cat Covered Box is $150.

This 8.75" Opal Satin Vase is sure to bring a smile, especially to those who have cats as pets!

The soft glow of golden lights amongst the Christmas tree branches provide a wonderful background for Robin Spindler's delightful "Playful Kitten" design.

A fluffy brown kitten lies beneath the tree, batting at the colorful red and blue ornaments. Note those bright blue kitty eyes and the pink nose!

Do you see that small brown mouse perched on an ornament? It appears to be warily observing the antics of that mischievous kitten. . . perhaps not quite sure what to make of that feline! Each Playful Kitten Vase is $160.

Kim Barley created a background of soft yellow, orange and rose tones for her "Goblin Greetings" hand painted design on our 5.75 Opal Satin Ghost Figurine.

Her whimsical design includes a marvelous "curling smile" on the

ghost as well as the word "Boo!" (with big eyes) on one hand.

Kim added smiling pumpkins, a witch's hat and an eerie house set against a  night sky filled with flying bats. There's even a black cat peeking out from behind some pumpkins!

Each Goblin Greetings Ghost Figurine is $120.

Pre-orders for the Vintage Toys Chessie Cat Covered Box, Playful Kitten Vase and Goblin Greetings Ghost Figurine will be accepted until midnight (ET) on Wednesday, November 28, 2018. Please contact Fenton Gift Shop at 1-800-319-7793, ext. 342 or  email: and include the names of the items you want to purchase in the subject line as well as your full name and daytime phone number so we may follow-up on your request.

Fenton Art Glass eBay Auctions. . .
Here's your opportunity to own a one-of-a-kind glass creation or items from Fenton's 112+ year history through our weekly eBay auctions. These Fenton Art Glass eBay auctions will on Wednesday, November 28th at 2 p.m. (ET). Items featured this week. . .

Created in 2011 at Glass Axis Studio in Columbus, Ohio by internationally-recognized glass artist, Doug Frates, this impressive art piece was one of several commissioned by Tom Fenton for his Artful Remembrance project. This vase is 10.75” tall with an 8.75” dia. opening and weighs about five pounds. Doug Frates calls this style of coloring "Sedona," and it is one of the silvered finishes for which he has become famous. Doug Frates is a United States Marine who served in Iraq in 2003. This piece also has a black ring around the top and is signed by Doug Frates (see close-up photo). His signature is large, but it blends in, so you need to look closely near the bottom of the piece. The finished bottom of the vase reveals the characteristic pontil mark typical of offhand glass artistry. The bottom surface also displays an inscribed alphanumeric Artful Remembrance identification code (see close-up).

Based upon a Horizons Collection offering from 2006, this splendid one-of-a-kind vase stands 7" tall. As for the dramatic color, it is an actual black Favrene with the colorants of black in the base glass instead of the cobalt for the blue Favrene. Similar to regular Favrene, the whole batch has silver in it, which is reduced on the surface to create the iridescent and silver finish. The sandcarved dragonflies motif was created by cameo artist Kelsey Murphy, and her signature is part of the design. The matte surface of the black glass is the perfect background for the vivid iridescence of Favrene that was sandcarved. Favrene glass contains pure silver, and special reheating techniques are required to create the distinctive color. The underside of the vase features the Fenton "script F" logo as well as two bumblebees and some foliage.

Here’s a great chance to acquire a bit of Fenton Art Glass history. Made from the original negatives in the Fenton Archives, these two 8x10 photos date from 1907-08. One 8x10 photo shows the office of the Fenton Art Glass firm. Bookkeeper Thomas P. Butcher is standing in the left side of the photo where the safe is open and large ledger books can be seen. The woman office employee sitting in the right side of the photo is probably Grace Sayre. A large route map of the Atchison, Topeka and Santa Fe Railway System is on the wall at the far right, and gas lighting fixtures are visible in several places. In the office area in the background, company founders Frank L. Fenton, age 27 or 28, and John W. Fenton, are seated. The other 8x10 photo shows the multi-glass pot melting furnace in the factory. The numbers above pots 5 and 6 can be seen. A group of glassworkers stands to the left of the multi-pot furnace, and the extensive overhead wind system is quite evident. The three men wearing suits are the left in the photo appear to be (l. to r.) company founders John W. Fenton and Frank L. Fenton along with Williamstown resident Wallace P. Beeson, who was an investor in the company. These 8x10 photos of areas in the Fenton Art Glass Company are high-quality black and white prints on a special metallic paper to heighten contrast. These Fenton Art Glass eBay auctions will end at 2 p.m. (ET) on Wednesday, November 28, 2018.
