NEW Limited Editions from Fenton Gift Shop. . .

We are pleased to offer these new Limited Edition selections for pre-orders. Each piece features a hand painted design and will be signed, numbered and dated 2018 by one of our talented designers. The Iceberg Paperweight was made by Mosser Glass. The other Limited Edition pieces were handcrafted by Mosser, using the Fenton moulds, exclusively for the Fenton Gift Shop.

Each Stocking Mouse & Mittens Alley Cat Figurine
is $175.

The Alley Cat is among the most collectible items in Fenton history and one of Fenton's most popular items since it was first made in 1970. Fenton collectors just can't seem to get enough of the whimsical Alley Cat's characteristic grin! The mould for this piece originated at the U.S. Glass Co. in Tiffin, Ohio during the 1920s and was purchased by Fenton Art Glass in the mid-1960s. Since that time, this Alley Cat has been made in a rainbow of colors and decorative treatments.

This Cobalt Blue Alley Cat features a fun and festive seasonal design by Michelle Kibbe. The marvelous hand painted details include that expressive face, a colorful blue and white stocking with poinsettia design and mittens hung from a decorative white garland. Note the little brown mouse peeking out of the stocking! Could this tiny creature be attempting to offer the Alley Cat a sprig of mistletoe? Michelle added entwined holly and berries around the base to complete this figurine. Each Stocking Mouse & Mittens Alley Cat Figurine is $175.

Our popular 5.75" Opal Satin Ghost Figurine sports a fabulous hand painted seasonal "Snowflakes and Snowman" design by Michelle Kibbe. The top third of this figurine is painted to resemble glistening white snow with gently falling delicate blue snowflakes. Note the large eyelashes on the ghost's face! The bottom half of this figurine sports a smiling snowman who appears to be celebrating the falling snow. The snowman sports a colorful green scarf and red striped toboggan with matching mittens. Michelle added a color coordinated striped design around the base to complete this piece. Each Snowflakes & Snowman Ghost Figurine is $115.

This 4" Opal Iceberg Paperweight by Mosser Glass provides the perfect canvas for Michelle Kibbe's stylized rendition of a downy feathered Goose. The front of this iceberg has been satin finished and Michelle's hand painted details are meticulously executed. A great item for a desk or tabletop display! Each Stylized Goose Iceberg Paperweight is $80.

Pre-orders for the Stocking Mouse & Mittens Alley Cat Figurine, Snowflakes & Snowman Ghost Figurine and Stylized Goose Iceberg Paperweight will be accepted until midnight (ET) on Monday, November 5, 2018. Please contact Fenton Gift Shop at 1-800-319-7793, ext. 342 or  email: purchasing@fentongiftshop.com and include the names of the items you want to purchase in the subject line as well as your full name and daytime phone number so we may follow-up on your request.

Our 10.75" Opal Satin Vase provides the perfect canvas for Robin Spindler's spectacular "Sunset Journey" scene. Robin created an autumn sky ablaze in rich hues of orange, yellow and red, the perfect setting for the buggy traveling down a country lane. Barren trees appear to show the way as the buggy travels down a dirt lane. . . perhaps the destination is the small white church in the woods. Each Sunset Journey Vase is $150.

Above: Michelle Kibbe's hand painted design on our 6.75" Bridesmaid Doll Figurine is lovely to behold. This figurine is adorned in a lovely gown of robin's egg blue and features sparkling glitter details on the skirt and also on the bouquet. Delicate white leaves and design accents encircle the skirt. Three Birds (two on the front and one on the back) are perched on branches with blue berries and green leaves. Each bird sports a blue stocking cap. Each Snowflakes & Birds Bridesmaid Doll Figurine is $100.

Our adorable 3.5" Opal Satin Sitting Bear figurine makes the perfect gift to celebrate a birthday, anniversary or other special occasion. . . or treat yourself! Kim Barley hand painted each Opal Satin Bear in natural brown tones with colorful flowers designating each month. She also hand lettered the name of each month. Note the warm brown eyes and the smiling expression on the face! The "November" Bear features a Stargazer Lily.  The "December" Bear features
a Rose.

Each Calendar Bear Figurine is $55 and will be signed, dated and numbered (without an "end" number).

Please specify the month
and quantity
for each figurine when you place
your pre-order.

All twelve months (January-December) are now available for orders.

Fenton Art Glass eBay Auctions. . .

Here's your opportunity to own a one-of-a-kind glass creation or items from Fenton's 112+ year history through our weekly eBay auctions.

These Fenton Art Glass eBay auctions will end at 2 p.m. (ET) on Wednesday, November 7th. Items featured this week. . .

Animal figurines on the fount (as pressed in glass production) are among the most popular Fenton collectibles, and this one-of-a-kind example by award winning Fenton designer Robin Spindler is a real "stunner!"

Robin combined intricate sandcarving with meticulous hand painting to create a wonderful overall effect, as the photos here will show. Note the lace-like accents around the top of the fount and the sponge effect at the very bottom area. The Cat itself is lightly iridized, and the fount is satin finished. This Stylized Cat on Fount is a full 9" tall overall, and the cat's face is hand painted; note the gold nose and those blue eyes! The mould for the Stylized Cat was designed by Fenton sculptor Jon Saffell, and collectors love the "Egyptian" look of this splendid figurine.

These glass rods are color samples of Fenton glass from the 1960s. The rods were made under the direction of glass chemist Charles “Charlie” Goe, who was employed at the Fenton Art Glass Co. from September 1, 1960 until his death at age 40 in October 1969. In addition to his day-to-day duties involving glass batch mixing and other aspects of production, Charlie was a research chemist. In the 1960s, company president Frank M. Fenton was very interested in having Fenton recreate historic glass colors such as Jacob Rosenthal’s Chocolate from the earliest years of the twentieth century. Goe worked on developing various glass colors during his time at Fenton. This assortment of 16 glass color samples includes the following: Chocolate (4 different shades), various shades of Ruby, various shades of Blue (ranging from light blue made with copper to dark blue made with cobalt), topaz, amber, pink, and orange. These glass rods were made by gathering a small quantity of glass from a “test pot” on a punty and rolling it on a steel plate called a marver. Because of the process used to make them, the rods will vary somewhat in length and in diameter; typically, each rod is slightly more than 2-1/2” long and about 3/8” in diameter. Each rod has a paper label that records a coded reference for the glass batch, the specific date (month, day and year), and whether the glass is unfinished (”unfin”) or finished (“fin”). Unfinished means that the molten glass was taken from the pot, and the rod was created immediately. Finished means that the glass was taken from the pot, allowed to chill briefly, and subsequently reheated before creating the rod.

Here's a great opportunity to own a piece of Fenton history! In the mid-1960s, the Fenton Art Glass Co. office area and the Fenton Gift Shop underwent considerable remodeling. Attractive brick facing was constructed on exterior areas, and the iconic "Clarence" figure was mounted above the gift shop entrance. Colored glass panels, made by skilled glassworkers at Fenton, were placed around the entrance door to the Fenton Gift Shop and around the entrance door to the reception area of the Fenton Art Glass Co. The Fenton factory was demolished and a new elementary school is under construction on the site, but the colored glass panels have been saved. This colored glass panel measures 11.75" tall by 8.75" wide. This colored glass panel is Colonial Green, a popular glass color made by Fenton Art Glass in the mid-1960s. This colored glass panel has been signed and dated 2018 by Fenton Art Glass Co. president George Fenton and by Fenton Gift Shop president Randy Fenton, and a certificate of authenticity is also included. These Fenton Art Glass eBay auctions will end at 2 p.m. (ET) on Wednesday, November 7, 2018.
