NEW Limited Editions from Fenton Gift Shop. . .
We are pleased to offer these new Limited Edition selections for pre-orders. Each piece features a hand painted design and will be signed, numbered and dated 2018 by one of our talented designers. These Limited Edition items were handcrafted by Mosser Glass, using the Fenton moulds, exclusively for the Fenton Gift Shop.

Our 9" Opal Satin Vase provides the canvas for Michelle Kibbe's hand painted design of a Koala. Michelle created a colorful native habitat which encircles the vase with lush vegetation and a blue sky background. Her hand painted details on the Koala are true to life. Did you know. . . Often called the "Koala Bear", the Koala isnít a bear at all. It is a marsupial or 'pouched animal'. The name "Koala" means ash colored. A baby Koala is known as a joey, and it is born blind and without ears. Koalas have fingerprints that are very similar to those of humans! Each Koala Vase is $160.

Our popular 6.5" Opal Satin Witch Figurine features a delightful design perfect for your Halloween display! Three green, googly-eyed toads encircle the base, each with a quirky expression and wearing a black witch hat. Michelle added seasonal colors to the witch's hat and to the sleeves of the dress. Mz. Croak-ette sports orange bloodshot eyes and a star spangled neckerchief. Note that big smile on the gruesome green complexion! Each Mz. Croak-ette Witch Figurine is $115.

In our part of the country, the days are getting shorter, the leaves are beginning to change color and fall from the trees, and Kim Barley's hand painted design on this 8" Opal Satin Chessie Cat Covered Box reminds us that "Fall Days" are here! She also transformed the iconic "Chessie Cat" into a "Chessie Raccoon" with white rings around the eyes and a signature black and white tail peeking out from the blanket! Kim added falling leaves in seasonal colors on the box and lid and hand lettered the words "FALL DAYS" above the Raccoon. A hand lettered "CAMPING 2 MILES" signpost adorns the back.

Chessie was the popular cat character used as a symbol of the Chesapeake and Ohio Railway. They used this artwork with their slogan advertising that "when you traveled on their railway, you would sleep like a kitten". Fenton made this item as a special order for the C & O Railway. The underside of each Fenton Chessie Cat Covered Box is embossed with the lettering "Chessie by Fenton". Each Fall Days Chessie Cat Covered Box is $150.

Pre-orders for the Koala Vase, Mz. Croak-ette Witch Figurine and Fall Days Chessie Cat Covered Box will be accepted until midnight (ET) on Monday, September 10, 2018. To pre-order these Limited Editions, contact Fenton Gift Shop at 1-800-319-7793, ext. 342 or send us an email: purchasing@fentongiftshop.com and include the names of the items you want to purchase in the subject line as well as your full name and daytime phone number so we may follow-up on your request.

A collector favorite, our 5.75" Opal Satin Ghost Figurine sends a Halloween message "Good Bite ~ Sweet Treats". Kim Barley's talent for the whimsical shines with her festive hand painted design. Two black bats frame the hand lettered message. This purple and green hued ghost sports two small "vampire" teeth in a wide smile! Note the many whimsical details. . . from the polka dotted bowtie, stacked grinning pumpkins, black raven, the spider in a witch's hat to the candy corn, black cat, a "Boo" trick or treat bag, a garland of golden stars and more! Each Good Bite ~ Sweet Treats Ghost Figurine is $120.

Another welcome sign of the changing of the seasons are vibrant orange pumpkins! Robin Spindler created a marvelous pumpkin patch scene on our 11" Opal Satin Vase. Her hand painted design features a black and white kitten, named "Prowler", who appears to be searching for mice in the pumpkin patch.

Shown below are different views of the vase with the green vines and a variety of pumpkins encircling the vase. Each Pumpkin Patch Prowler Vase is $160.

Robin also created a wonderful perfect companion piece to the vase. She continues her hand painted pumpkin and vines design on our 5" Black Satin Stylized Cat Figurine. A large pumpkin leaf adorns the cat's head while a bright orange-red pumpkin rests near the tail.

Note those large blue eyes, pink nose and the hand painted details on the pumpkins! More views of "Prowler" are shown below the vase. Each Miss Prowler Stylized Cat Figurine is $95.

Pre-orders for the Good Bite ~ Sweet Treats Ghost Figurine, Pumpkin Patch Prowler Vase
and Miss Prowler Stylized Cat Figurine will be accepted until midnight (ET) on Wednesday, September 12, 2018.

Fenton Art Glass eBay Auctions. . .

Here's your opportunity to own a "one-of-a-kind" art glass creation through our weekly eBay auctions. These Fenton Art Glass eBay auctions will end at 2 p.m. (ET) on Wednesday, September 12. Items featured this week. . .

With September already here, can Halloween be far off? Fenton artist Kim Barley already had the spooky Halloween spirit in
mind when she created this scary, one-of-a-kind Opal Satin glass hand painted ornament (3.5" diameter). Careful airbrushing in
black and gold forms the perfect background for Kim's hand painted depiction of "Frank N. Stein," one of the great movie monsters of all time! The facial features and eyes are really scary, even when viewed from either side!

Here's a great opportunity to own a piece of Fenton history! In the mid-1960s, the Fenton Art Glass Co. office area and the Fenton Gift Shop underwent considerable remodeling. Attractive brick facing was constructed on exterior areas, and the iconic "Clarence" figure was mounted above the gift shop entrance. Colored glass panels, made by skilled glassworkers at Fenton, were placed around the entrance door to the Fenton Gift Shop and around the entrance door to the reception area of the Fenton Art Glass Company.

The Fenton factory was demolished, and construction has begun for a new elementary school to be built on the site, but the colored glass panels have been saved. This colored glass panel measures 11.75" tall by 8.75" wide. This colored glass panel is Colonial Green, a popular glass color made by Fenton Art Glass in the mid-1960s. This colored glass panel has been signed and dated 2018 by Fenton Art Glass Co. president George Fenton and by Fenton Gift Shop president Randy Fenton, and a certificate of authenticity is also included.

Here's a great opportunity to acquire a unique piece of Fenton history. This original copper printing plate was used in the production of one of our first catalogs, dating c. 1909-1911. The copper printing plate is 7.75" x 10" in size and it depicts Fenton Art Glass items that were being made in "iridescent ware" at that time (this distinctive glassware is now called Carnival glass and is very popular with collectors worldwide). The items depicted on the copper printing plate are described with the original numbers that were assigned to them during glass production at Fenton: 1607, 1707 and 1807, along with such terms as "crimped" and "shallow." Collectors today know these items with the following popular Carnival glass pattern names: 1607 is Little Fishes; 1707 is Two Flowers; and 1807 is Water Lily. This copper printing plate is mounted on the original hardwood that is about 1" thick. We cleaned this copper printing plate with a high-quality copper cleaning product, and it does retain much of its patina as well as some minor surface scratches.
These Fenton Art Glass eBay auctions will end at 2 p.m. (ET) on Wednesday, September 12, 2018.
