NEW Limited Editions from Fenton Gift Shop. . .
We are pleased to offer new Limited Edition selections for pre-orders. Each piece features a hand painted design and will be signed, numbered and dated by one of our talented designers. These Limited Edition pieces were handcrafted by Mosser Glass, using the Fenton moulds, exclusively for the Fenton Gift Shop, with the exception of the Lighthouse Fairy Light. However, the Opal Iceberg Paperweight is a Mosser Glass product.

Michelle Kibbe created this lovely scene of a Goldfinch alight on this approximately 9.75" Opal Satin Vase. As you can see from the photos above, vibrant Clematis flowers encircle the vase, while a single Goldfinch rests on a stem. The hand painted details on the bird and the flowers are meticulously executed Each Goldfinch on Clematis Vase is $150 and limited to 14.

This 7" Bridesmaid Doll Figurine has been hand painted to complement the lovely design on our Egg on Stand featured in our July 20th newsletter. Michelle Kibbe used white polka dot accents on the dress ruffles. Her flowers provide the perfect frame for that beautiful blue and green Hummingbird seeking nectar. Did you know. . . A hummingbird uses its tongue, which is grooved like the shape of a "W", to lap up nectar from flowers and feeders. Tiny hairs on the tip of the tongue help them lap up nectar. Each Hummingbird Floral Bridesmaid Doll Figurine is $115.

Our 5.5 Opal Satin Owl Figurine has a beautiful hand painted design by Kim Barley that we call "Winter Song". Note the musical notes adorning the back feathers and the delicate and intricate white snowflakes on the chest area and top of the head. Kim added blue, gold and white accents to complete this piece. Note those large dark eyes and the "ring of snow" encircling the base. Each Winter Song Owl Figurine is $90.

Pre-orders for the Goldfinch on Clematis Vase and the Hummingbird Floral Bridesmaid Doll and Winter Song Owl Figurines will be accepted until midnight (ET) on Monday, August 13, 2018. To pre-order these Limited Editions, contact Fenton Gift Shop at 1-800-319-7793, ext. 342 or email: purchasing@fentongiftshop.com and include the names of the items you want to purchase in the subject line as well as your full name and daytime phone number so we may follow-up on your request.

Above: Michelle Kibbe's design of an American Quarter Horse on this Opal Iceberg Paperweight is so true-to-life you may want to reach out and touch it! This 4" x 4" Iceberg Paperweight was made by Mosser. Front and back views are shown in the above photo. Note the bridle details and the "blaze" marking on the horse's forehead.

Did you know. . . The Quarter Horse is an American horse breed that excels at sprinting short distances. It was so named because of its ability to run a quarter of a mile faster than any other breed in the world. The Quarter Horse is also known for a heavily-muscled physique, an even disposition, its athletic ability and versatility. There are 17 recognized American Quarter Horse colors, all derivatives of two base colors. To summarize, any color of horse you can think of is either black-based or red-based.

A unique gift for the horse enthusiast, this paperweight would look great displayed on a desk or table, as well as in a curio cabinet with horse figurines!
Each Quarter Horse Iceberg Paperweight is $80.

Right and below: Cast a warm and welcoming glow in any room when you display this beautiful Lighthouse Fairy Light. This Lighthouse was handcrafted in Opal Satin glass (5" base) with a crystal (3") top.

Kim Barley's already thinking about the holidays and her hand painted design is a perfect way to welcome Winter! A Buck Deer stands watch amongst the falling snow in a fence-lined pasture. A snow-covered barn and green pines are in the background. A band of holly leaves and berries encircle the top of the base. Kim added window pane accents and a red roof on the top section to resemble a lighthouse. More views of this set is shown below.

Each Lighthouse Fairy Light includes a battery operated tea light that fits perfectly on the top of the base in a recessed area measuring approximately 1-1/5" diameter. Each Winter Deer Lighthouse Fairy Light is $130.

Fenton Art Glass eBay Auctions. . .

Here's your opportunity to own a beautiful "one-of-a-kind" art glass creation or unique items from Fenton's history through our weekly eBay auctions. These Fenton Art Glass eBay auctions will end at 2 p.m. (ET) on Wednesday, August 15. Items featured this week. . .

Here's a great opportunity to own a piece of Fenton history! In the mid-1960s, the Fenton Art Glass Co. office area and the Fenton Gift Shop underwent considerable remodeling. Attractive brick facing was constructed on exterior areas, and the iconic "Clarence" figure was mounted above the gift shop entrance. Colored glass panels, made by skilled glassworkers at Fenton, were placed around the entrance door to the Fenton Gift Shop and around the entrance door to the reception area of the Fenton Art Glass Co. Demolition of the Fenton factory has recently been completed, but the colored glass panels have been saved. This colored glass panel measures 11.75" tall by 8.75" wide. This colored glass panel is Colonial Amber, a popular glass color made by Fenton Art Glass in the mid-1960s. This colored glass panel has been signed and dated 2018 by Fenton Art Glass Co. president George Fenton and by Fenton Gift Shop president Randy Fenton, and a certificate of authenticity is also included.

Here's a one-in-a-lifetime opportunity to acquire a unique piece of Fenton history combined with the skills and talents of a Fenton artist. This "Athens Block" brick (8.67" long, 3.75" tall) was recovered from the Fenton factory site during the recent demolition, so it has the look of its 110+ years. Our research into the history of bricks from the Athens Brick Co. of Athens, Ohio, revealed that these Athens Block bricks were used in the construction of the original Fenton Art Glass Company plant during the fall of 1906. Using acrylic paint colors, award-winning Fenton designer Robin Spindler created a remarkable depiction of the Fenton Gift Shop, complete with the distinctive script lettering and the iconic "Clarence" glassworker!

Fenton artist Michelle Kibbe designed and hand painted a wonderfully whimsical motif on this one-of-a-kind satin-finished Chocolate glass Frog figurine (3.5" long). The Frog's eyes and facial expression seem to be saying "who's on my back?" The answer is "a fellow frog who just loves chomping on toadstools!" Years ago, we made our first mould for a "frog" figurine, but we decided later that it really looked more like a "toad," so redesigning took place. The vivid hand painted red color of the toadstools on this figurine contrasts beautifully with the green of the "fellow frog" and the leaves and stems. This Frog is just too cute for words. Chocolate glass is a classic Fenton color, first made in 1907 and revived in 1975-1976 and again in 2004-2005.
These Fenton Art Glass eBay auctions will end at 2 p.m. (ET) on Wednesday, August 15, 2018.
