NEW Limited Editions from Fenton Gift Shop. . .
We are pleased to offer new Limited Edition
selections for pre-orders. Each piece features a hand painted
design and will be signed, numbered and dated by one of our
talented designers. These Limited Edition pieces were handcrafted by Mosser Glass, using the Fenton moulds,
exclusively for the Fenton Gift Shop. However, the Cobalt Iceberg
Paperweight is a Mosser Glass product.

Michelle Kibbe has created a marvelous
scene of Canada Geese on this impressive approximately
11.25" Opal Satin Vase. As you can see from the photos
above, her landscape encircles the vase. A pair of geese
stand watch on one side of the vase. Michelle captures the
essence of a lone goose about to land near the water on
the other side. The hand painted details are meticulous
and so true to life that you can almost hear their
distinctive honking call. Did you know. . .
The Canada Goose is known for its loud "honk",
unmistakable appearance and for flying in a distinctive
V-formation. The Canada Goose (male) gander can weigh as
much as 14 pounds with a wing spread of up to five feet. Each
Canada Geese Vase is $225.

This little gray Mouse is ready to lead us
to a square dance or lead us to the next season! Kim
Barley's delightful design includes a hand lettered
message: "the Path to Fall" on the ears, complete with
autumn leaves and a black crow. You'll love the hand
painted details. . . from the white polka dotted red
neckerchief to the brown coveralls, red shoes, as well as
pumpkin and corn accents. As always, Kim added her
whimsical touch to the expression with a large smile and
adorable eyes.
Each Path to Fall Mouse Figurine is $80.

Our Opal Satin Hurricane Candle Lamp
provides the perfect canvas for Robin Spindler's tender
scene of a white mare with her foal. The overall size is
10.5", with the shade measuring 9.125" tall. This shape
has been included in the
Fenton line for many decades. Robin's hand painted design
includes a fenced paddock framed by lush pine trees and a
blue sky background. Robin added delicate leaves with gold
highlights on the base to complete this Limited Edition
set.
Each Mare 'n Foal Hurricane Candle Lamp is $160.
Pre-orders for the Canada Geese
Vase, Path to Fall Mouse Figurine and
Mare 'n Foal Hurricane Candle Lamp will be accepted until midnight
(ET) on Monday, August 6, 2018. To pre-order these
Limited Editions, please contact Fenton Gift Shop at
1-800-319-7793, ext. 342 or send an email to:
purchasing@fentongiftshop.com and include the
names of the items you want to purchase in the subject
line as well as your full name and daytime phone
number.

Robin
Spindler continues her tender theme of a mother's love
with her beautiful, yet unique, hand painted design on
this elegant 11.75" Opal Satin Vase. What a statement this
vase will make when displayed in your home! The
meticulously executed details of the two giraffes are a
testament to Robin's artistic talent! Can you see how
Robin handled the large size of this animal? One side of
the vase has the mother's bottom half... while the other
side shows her head bending down to nuzzle her young calf.
Did you know. . . As in cattle, female
giraffes are called cows, males are called bulls and baby
giraffes are called calves. During birth, a calf will drop
to the ground, since mother giraffes give birth while
standing up. Despite their long necks, giraffes have the
same number of neck vertebrae as humans—just seven. Each
individual vertebra is super-sized, measuring up to ten
inches long. We think you'll agree that Robin has
captured the beauty of this majestic animal with her hand
painted design.
Each Mama Love - Giraffe Vase
is $225.

Michelle Kibbe's hand painted design is simply delightful
and is sure to create many smiles! A gray and white tabby
kitten appears to be playing "peek-a-boo" over top of
clay pots filled with beautiful white and pink flowers.
This 7"
tall x 5.5" wide Cobalt Iceberg Paperweight was made by
Mosser Glass. Michelle's signature appears on the bottom
right corner of this piece, along with the date of "2018". Each
Peek-a-boo Tabby Cat Iceberg Paperweight is $100.

You'll be ready for Fall when you display this 5.75"
Black Ghost! Designed by Kim Barley, this figurine
features a unique rendition of a kitten's face peeking
over top of a large pumpkin that has a bow of red
hearts.
Kim added large stylized sunflowers to
frame this scene and a small sprig of autumn leaves on
the back of the figurine. Note the smaller pumpkin
with the "Oh My!" expression! The words "Happy Fall!"
are hand lettered and as always, Kim added a wonderful
whimsical smile to the face of the ghost! Each
Happy Fall! Ghost Figurine is $120.
Pre-orders for the Mama Love -
Giraffe Vase, Peek-a-boo Tabby Cat
Iceberg Paperweight
and Happy Fall! Ghost
Figurine will be accepted until midnight
(ET) on Monday, August 8, 2018.

Fenton
Art Glass eBay
Auctions. . .
Here's your opportunity to own
a beautiful
"one-of-a-kind" art glass creation or unique items
from Fenton's
history through our weekly eBay auctions.
These Fenton Art Glass eBay auctions will end at 2 p.m.
(ET) on Wednesday, August 8.
Items
featured this week. . .
Here's a splendid one-of-a-kind had painted
Burmese vase (about 8.5" tall) from Fenton artist Michelle
Kibbe. The lush hand painted chrysanthemums in realistic
shades of pink and purple completely encircle the vase, and
the green leaves
and foliage are true to life in every respect. Burmese is a
classic Fenton color, first offered in 1969-70 after the
formula, which contains pure gold, was perfected by Fenton
chemist Charles "Charlie" Goe.
Here's a one-in-a-lifetime opportunity to acquire a unique
piece of Fenton history combined with the skills and talents
of a Fenton artist. Fenton artist Kim Barley designed and hand
painted this one-of-a-kind Athens Block brick. Kim's hand
painted scene superimposes a likeness of the original Fenton
Art Glass factory on an outline of the state of West Virginia,
and the West Virginia state flower (Rhododendron) and state
bird (Cardinal) are also depicted. Note the detailed hand
painted "Handmade in America by Fenton" logo that was
important part of Fenton's history for several decades. This
"Athens Block" brick (8.67" long, 3.75" tall, 9.85 lbs.) was
recovered from the Fenton factory site during the recent
demolition of the plant, so it has the look of its 110+ years,
as you can see in the photos that show all sides of this
brick. Our research into the history of bricks from the Athens
Brick Co. of Athens, Ohio, revealed that these Athens Block
bricks were used in the construction of the original Fenton
Art Glass Company plant during the fall of 1906. This unique
hand painted brick is identified, dated and signed: "Kim
Barley 2018 OOAK."
Here's a great opportunity to acquire some interesting
examples of Fenton history. These two copper printing plates
were used in the production of the 1947 Fenton catalog ...
more than 70 years ago! The copper plate depicting the No. 893
Rose Jar measures 5.875" x 6.125". The copper plate depicting
the No. 194 11" 2-Handled Vase measures 6.5" x 3.125". These
copper plates are mounted on wood that is about 1" thick. The
Coin Dot pattern was first developed by Fenton Art Glass in
the 1940s, and Cranberry Opalescent examples of Coin Dot soon
became favorites among collectors nationwide. The Coin Dot
pieces depicted were in the Fenton line about 1947-1952. These
copper printing plates have been cleaned, but they do have
some very light scratching on the surface. We'll also include
some photocopies of pages from the 1947 Fenton catalog as they
were used for illustrations in the book Fenton Glass: The
Second 25 Years.
These
Fenton Art Glass eBay auctions will end at 2 p.m.
on Wednesday,
August 8, 2018.
