Fenton Art Glass eBay Auctions. . .

Here's your opportunity to own a beautiful "one-of-a-kind" art glass creation or unique item of Fenton history through our weekly eBay auctions. These Fenton Art Glass eBay auctions will end at 2 p.m. (ET) on Wednesday, July 11. Items featured this week. . .

Those who have heard the distinctive "bobwhite! bobwhite!" call surely recall the excitement they felt. Those of us at Fenton are surely excited to offer this one-of-a-kind hand painted vase (11" tall) by artist Michelle Kibbe that depicts a pair of Bobwhite Quail. With Opal Satin glass for her canvas, Michelle created a wonderful rustic scene with a wagon wheel in the background and a pair of Bobwhite Quail that seem to scurry along the ground in search of food. The airbrushed warm brown tones contrast perfectly with the silver/gray tones, and the hand painted birds are wonderfully realistic ... every brushstroke meticulously executed!

Here's a great chance to "lock up" a bit of Fenton history! This solid brass padlock is about 3.5" long and weighs about nine ounces. As you can see from the photos, it's a Best brand padlock, and it has the word "Fenton" in script on one side. The padlock is in "as found" condition with the patina of years on it, but it works perfectly and comes complete with a key. This padlock and others similar to it were used to secure various glass storage areas in the factory of the Fenton Art Glass Company, Williamstown, West Virginia.

Here's a great opportunity to own a piece of Fenton history! In the mid-1960s, the Fenton Art Glass Co. office area and the Fenton Gift Shop underwent considerable remodeling. Attractive brick facing was constructed on exterior areas, and the iconic "Clarence" figure was mounted above the gift shop entrance. Colored glass panels, made by skilled glassworkers at Fenton, were placed around the entrance door to the Fenton Gift Shop and around the entrance door to the reception area of the Fenton Art Glass Company. The Fenton factory is currently undergoing demolition, but the colored glass panels have been saved. This colored glass panel measures 11.75" tall by 8.75" wide. We call this color "amberina," because the pressed glass panel was made with ruby glass and only the thicker central area has the red hues characteristic of ruby. There are a few minor chips near the edges on the back side of this panel. This colored glass panel has been signed by Fenton Art Glass Co. president George Fenton and by Fenton Gift Shop president Randy Fenton, and a certificate of authenticity is also included. These Fenton Art Glass eBay auctions will end at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, July 11, 2018.
