NEW Limited Editions from Fenton Gift Shop. . .
We are pleased to offer new Limited Edition selections for pre-orders. Each piece features a hand painted design and will be signed, numbered and dated by one of our talented designers. The Lighthouse Fairy Light was made by Fenton Collectibles and the Iceberg Paperweight was handcrafted by Mosser Glass. The remaining Limited Edition pieces were also made by Mosser, using the Fenton moulds, exclusively for the Fenton Gift Shop.

Kim Barley celebrates fun at the beach with her hand painted design on our 8" Lighthouse Fairy Light. This Fairy Light was handcrafted in Opal Satin glass (base) and crystal (top) at Fenton Collectibles using the Fenton Art Glass moulds that were not used for production before glassmaking halted at Fenton in 2011. The hand painted details encircling this Lighthouse are simply marvelous. . . from the boy playing in the sand (note the sandcastle and sailboat) by the large palm trees to the colorful seashells, starfish and shorebird. Kim added the warm pink, blue and golden tones of summer as the background for this delightful scene. The crystal top has been sprayed in gold and Kim hand lettered the words "Simple Pleasures" and "Timeless Treasures" around the wider section of the lid. Each Simple Pleasures Lighthouse Fairy Light is $125.

You'll certainly receive admiring "oohs and aahs" from your guests when you display this impressive 11.75" Opal Satin Vase!

Robin Spindler's hand painted pond scene has a stately Great Blue Heron as the focal point. Her beautiful hand painted details encircle the vase and are meticulously executed, from the lush purple flowers, lily pads and cattails to the hovering dragonflies and marvelous green, brown and white leaping frog. Robin used a painting style on the Heron that gives it a three-dimensional look.

Did you know. . . The Great Blue Heron is the largest (at 3 to 4.5 feet high) and most common heron in North America. In flight, the bird looks huge, with a six-foot wingspan. Both parents take turns incubating the eggs for 4 weeks. Young herons can first fly when they are around 60 days of age. Each Great Blue Heron Vase is $250.

Our popular 5" Stylized Cat in Opal Satin provides Kim Barley's canvas for her hand painted "Treat Street" design. A large, looming moon and white stars are in the background. Kim added a smiling pumpkin, black crow and mischievous black cat, and a hand lettered "Treat Street" sign. Note the ghost rising from the "RIP" tombstone. Each Treat Street Stylized Cat Figurine is $95.

Pre-orders for the Simple Pleasures Lighthouse Fairy Light, Blue Heron Vase and Treat Street Stylized Cat Figurine will be accepted until midnight (ET) on Monday, May 21, 2018. To pre-order these Limited Editions, please contact Fenton Gift Shop at 1-800-319-7793, ext. 342 or email purchasing@fentongiftshop.com and include the names of the items you want to purchase in the subject line as well as your full name and daytime phone number. You may also request we add your email address to our mailing list for future Limited Edition specials!

The Alley Cat is among the most collectible items in Fenton history, and the mould for this piece originated at the United States Glass Co. in Ohio during the 1920s and was purchased by Fenton Art Glass about 40 years later. Handcrafted in rich Cobalt glass, our 11" Alley Cat makes the perfect patriotic display! Michelle Kibbe created a wonderful red, white and blue design featuring starts, stripes, polka dots and flowers. And don't forget that mischievous grin and winking eye! Each Patriotic Alley Cat Figurine is $195.

We continue Fenton Gift Shop's "Butterfly 'n Blooms" Series with Michelle Kibbe's Sulphur Butterfly on our 3.75" Opal Satin Egg on Stand. Her hand painted scene is beautiful with the bluish-purple and white flowers. She added a green, light blue and yellow background and completes her piece with white polka dots and delicate green scroll details.

Did you know. . . The wings of a Sulphur Butterfly are mostly yellow, with some brown and white spots on the female. Attract these beautiful butterflies to your garden by planting partridge pea, Bahama cassia, wild senna, or other native species.

Each Butterfly 'n Blooms - Sulphur Egg on Stand is $75.

Kim Barley continues her Halloween theme with a wonderful "Haunted House" design on this 5" tall x 6.25" wide Crystal Iceberg Paperweight (which was made by Mosser). The hand painted details are delightfully spooky. . . from the costumed visitors seeking treats to the spider web with a dangling spider. Kim hand lettered a "KEEP OUT" sign and added "RIP" to the tombstone. Each Haunted House Iceberg Paperweight is $95.

Pre-orders for the Patriotic Alley Cat Figurine, Butterfly 'n Blooms - Sulphur Egg on Stand and the Haunted House Iceberg Paperweight will be accepted until midnight (ET) on Wednesday, May 23, 2018. To place your pre-order, please call Fenton Gift Shop: 1-800-319-7793, ext. 342 or email: purchasing@fentongiftshop.com and include the names of the items you want to purchase in the subject line as well as your full name and daytime phone number. Fenton Art Glass eBay Auctions. . .
Here's your opportunity to own a beautiful "one-of-a-kind" art glass creation through our weekly eBay auctions. These Fenton Art Glass eBay auctions will end at 2 p.m. (ET) on Wednesday, May 23. Items featured this week. . .

Welcome the arrival of Spring with this wonderful one-of-a-kind hand painted vase (9.25" tall) by Fenton artist Michelle Kibbe. The glass is Fenton’s Indigo Blue with an Opal Satin interior at the top. The hand painted design, created by Michelle, features a pair of Chickadees in one scene and another Chickadee amidst lush Spring flowers in pink and purple tones. As you can see in the photos, the floral motif completely encircles the vase. All the hand painted details are simply exquisite, and we can almost hear the distinctive song ... "chick a dee dee dee!"

Here's a unique opportunity to acquire some Fenton history! These glass rods are color samples of Fenton glass from the 1960s. The rods were made under the direction of glass chemist Charles “Charlie” Goe, who was employed at Fenton from September 1, 1960 until his death at age 40 in October 1969. Charlie was a research chemist. In the 1960s, company president Frank M. Fenton was interested in having Fenton recreate historic glass colors such as Burmese from the 1880s, Bastow’s opaque pink from about 1900, and Jacob Rosenthal’s Chocolate from the earliest years of the twentieth century. Goe worked on developing these glass colors during his time at Fenton, and his greatest achievements were creating formulas for Fenton’s Burmese glass and Rosalene glass. This assortment of 24 glass rod color samples includes the following: various hues of Burmese (2),various hues of Chocolate (2), various hues of Rosalene (2), various hues of opaque red (2), various hues of opaque orange (2), various hues of transparent blue
(2), various hues of ruby (2), various hues of amber (2), various hues of amethyst (2), various hues of pink (2), various hues of transparent green (2), and various hues of opaque white (2).These glass rods were made by gathering a small quantity of glass from a “test pot” on a punty and rolling it on a steel plate called a marver. Because of the process used to make them, the rods will vary somewhat in length and in diameter; typically, each rod is slightly more than 2-1/2” long and about 1/4" to 3/8” in diameter. Each rod has a paper label that records a coded reference for the glass batch, the specific date (month, day and year), and whether the glass is unfinished (”unfin”) or finished (“fin”). Unfinished means that the molten glass was taken from the pot, and the rod was created immediately. Finished means that the glass was taken from the pot, allowed to chill briefly, and subsequently reheated before creating the rod.

Bell collectors will love this new design from Fenton artist Michelle Kibbe! With Opal Satin glass for her canvas, Michelle designed and hand painted this splendid one-of-a-kind bell (7" tall) with crystal clapper. The bell has a pale pink glass bottom edge. Michelle’s design features a remarkably lifelike Ruby-throated Hummingbird searching for nectar amidst lush flowers. All the hand painted details are meticulously done, and the scene is simply wonderful to behold from any angle.
These Fenton Art Glass eBay auctions will end at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, May 23, 2018.
