NEW Limited Editions from Fenton Gift Shop. . .
We are pleased to offer new Limited Edition selections for pre-orders. Each piece features a hand painted design and will be signed, numbered and dated by one of our talented designers. These Limited Edition pieces were made by Mosser, using the Fenton moulds, exclusively for the Fenton Gift Shop.

Our 4" long Opal Satin Turtle sports a Spring design by Michelle Kibbe of bright white daisies and green and brown markings. "Daisy" the Turtle will make a great addition to any figurine collection! Designed in 2001 by Fenton sculptor Jon Saffell for the Fenton Art Glass "Into the Pond" collection, this figurine is a collector favorite. Each Daisy Turtle Figurine is $75.

Each Butterfly 'n Blooms - Silver Skipper Egg on Stand is $75.

We continue Fenton Gift Shop's "Butterfly 'n Blooms" Series with Michelle Kibbe's Silver-Spotted Skipper Butterfly on our 3.75" Opal Satin Egg on Stand. Michelle's hand painted details on the butterfly and the vibrant flowers are meticulously executed. Note the accents on the base of the Egg on Stand.

This interesting butterfly looks like a butterfly and a moth combined and has numerous silvery spots on the underside of its hind wings. Quick, intense fliers, they appear to "skip" from flower to flower. The Silver-Spotted Skipper prefers almost any color of flower except yellow. This butterfly can be found in almost the entire United States.

Pre-orders for the Daisy Turtle Figurine and Butterfly 'n Blooms - Silver-Spotted Skipper Butterfly Egg on Stand will be accepted until midnight (ET) on Monday, May 7, 2018. To pre-order these Limited Editions, please contact Fenton Gift Shop at 1-800-319-7793, ext. 342 or email and include the names of the items you want to purchase in the subject line as well as your full name and daytime phone number. You may also request we add your email address to our mailing list for future Limited Edition specials!

Our 9.75" Opal Satin Vase provides the perfect canvas for Michelle Kibbe's rendition of a male peacock posing on a stone wall in all his feathery glory! Her beautiful hand painted design encircles the vase. She includes an assortment of lovely pink, blue and white flowers, including a white flower with a blue center known as the "peacock flower." Michelle's talent shines with her meticulously executed details on this piece. Green shading and delicate blue bands and scroll accents provide a frame for her design. The photos here show more of Michelle's lovely design.

Did you know. . . Only the males are actually “peacocks.” Collectively known as "peafowl", the females are "peahens" and the young are called "peachicks." The feathers on the male are covered in tiny crystal-like structures that reflect different wavelengths of light depending on how they’re spaced, resulting in the bright fluorescent colors. Peacocks shed those long feathers every year. The average lifespan of a peacock in the wild is about 20 years.

We think you'll agree that Michelle has indeed captured the beauty of this species! Each Peacock Splendor Vase is $150 and limited to 15.

Michelle Kibbe continues her hand painted peacock design theme on our 6.75" Bridesmaid Doll Figurine. Soft shades of green create the ruffles on the dress. Michelle added a bright blue bow and ribbon for the bouquet. Note the peacock feather adorning the top of the dress as well as the peacock feathers flowing around the skirt. Michelle commented that this design was one of her personal favorites! A "must have" for doll collectors! Each Peacock Feathers Bridesmaid Doll Figurine is $110.

Pre-orders for the Peacock Splendor Vase and Peacock Feathers Bridesmaid Doll Figurine will be accepted until midnight (ET) on Wednesday, May 9, 2018. To place your pre-order, please call Fenton Gift Shop: 1-800-319-7793, ext. 342 or email: and include the names of the items you want to purchase in the subject line as well as your full name and daytime phone number. Fenton Art Glass eBay Auctions. . .
Here's your opportunity to own a beautiful "one-of-a-kind" art glass creation through our weekly eBay auctions. These Fenton Art Glass eBay auctions will end at 2 p.m. (ET) on Wednesday, May 9. Items featured this week. . .

Here's a rare opportunity to acquire a very special item designed and hand painted by the legendary Fenton artist Louise Piper. This
satin-finished Custard glass plate (8" diameter) features Louise's depiction of two male Cardinals perched on pine boughs. The birds are
vividly colored, and the detailed pine boughs add to the appeal of this wonderful item (note the original Fenton label, too!).

This plate has Louise's signature under the Cardinal on the right, and this additional signature is on the back of the plate: "Hand Painted Louise Piper 5-10-82".

Louise Piper came to Fenton Art Glass in the mid-1960s, and she was responsible for hiring and training many of the Fenton decorators who enjoyed long careers at Fenton. You’ll also receive the wooden display stand.

With satin-finished Rosalene glass for her canvas, Fenton artist Michelle Kibbe designed and hand painted this one-of-a-kind Rosebowl with its splendid depiction of a ruby-throated hummingbird searching for nectar amidst some beautiful flowers. Michelle's work is remarkably detailed, as you can see in the photos. This Rosalene Rosebowl, made with an historic Fenton mould that originated in the 1920s, measures 3.5" tall, and the diameter across the topmost edge is about 3.75" (note the interesting "cupped in" style that was the work of a skilled glassworker). Rosalene glass, which contains pure gold, is a classic Fenton glass color that was first developed in the 1970s by Fenton glass chemists Charles Goe and Subodh Gupta.

Here's a unique opportunity to acquire some Fenton history! These glass rods are color samples of Fenton glass from the 1960s. The rods were made under the direction of glass chemist Charles “Charlie” Goe, who was employed at Fenton from September 1, 1960 until his death at age 40 in October 1969. Charlie was a research chemist. In the 1960s, company president Frank M. Fenton was interested in having Fenton recreate historic glass colors such as Burmese from the 1880s, Bastow’s opaque pink from about 1900, and Jacob Rosenthal’s Chocolate from the earliest years of the twentieth century. Goe worked on developing these glass colors during his time at Fenton, and his greatest achievements were creating formulas for Fenton’s Burmese glass and Rosalene glass. This assortment of 24
glass rod color samples includes the following: various hues of Burmese (2), various hues of Chocolate (2), various hues of Rosalene (2), various hues of opaque red (2), various hues of opaque orange (2), various hues of transparent blue (2), various hues of ruby (2), various hues of amber (2), various hues of opaque green (2), various hues of opaque blue (2), various hues of opaque yellow (2), gray (1), and black (1). These glass rods were made by gathering a small quantity of glass from a “test pot” on a punty and rolling it on a steel plate called a marver. Because of the process used to make them, the rods will vary somewhat in length and in diameter; typically, each rod is slightly more than 2-1/2” long and about 1/4" to 3/8” in diameter. Each rod has a paper label that records a coded reference for the glass batch, the specific date (month, day and year), and whether the glass is unfinished (”unfin”) or finished (“fin”).
Unfinished means that the molten glass was taken from the pot, and the rod was created immediately. Finished means that the glass was taken from the pot, allowed to chill briefly, and subsequently reheated before creating the rod.
These Fenton Art Glass eBay auctions will end at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, May 9, 2018.
