Fenton International

Fenton USA Presents. . . Cranberry Lamp Special!

As we continue to wind down Fenton factory inventory, we located a limited quantity of handpainted Cranberry lamp shades. We paired this lovely shade with antique brass hardware . . . the result is
a unique 14'' tall Cranberry Lamp. Fenton Cranberry is a traditional example of American craftsmanship, destined to be treasured for generations.

You'll see the excellence in the art of handblown glassware in Fenton's lamps. Our eye-catching globe designs radiate warmth to any room. Each handcrafted Fenton Cranberry lamp was individually mouth blown and required a team or shop of up to 18 skilled craftsmen to complete. Handpainted shades are proudly signed by the talented Fenton artist who completed each piece.

A signature Fenton color, Cranberry glass was called Gold Ruby by prominent tableware manufacturers in the 1880s. Cranberry is a unique glass color that can be made only as blown ware. Pure gold is dissolved in a mixture of two strong acids and this liquid is added to the dry raw materials of the glass batch: silica sand, soda ash and lime. Fenton's Cranberry was first marketed as Ruby Overlay in the early 1940s. This name provides an insight into the production procedure. Cranberry glass consists of a bud of deep red glass that is cased (or overlaid) with Crystal before it is blown to shape in a cast iron mould. The blowing process results in a thin, inside layer of red so vivid that it is difficult to tell there is Crystal on the outside!

The Last Supper Stained Glass from Glassmasters. . .

GM1019 - $75.00, Buy Now!  15-1/4'' x 8-1/4'' The Last Supper Stained Glass

For the last two millennia, the Last Supper has inspired people to live by faith in Jesus Christ, and to serve others instead of following the worldly influences of expecting to be served. As one of the world’s best-loved religious images, Leonardo Da Vinci's painting has been the subject of many adaptations. Glassmasters' stained glass tableau presentation has evoked emotions and acclaim by many theological leaders, museum curators and art collectors. Thanks to master artist Carol Hicks, this tableau reveals a dynamic three-dimensional illusion of the spiritual scene that draws the viewer in for a closer and mesmerizing experience.

Glassmasters is world renowned for creating stained glass designs of licensed museum artwork and replicas of original stained glass windows. Glassmasters creates collectible and home decor size stained glass panels of the images using a proprietary labor intensive hand craft process. The imagery is painstakingly recreated by artisans who hand apply translucent enamels to cathedral glass in a traditional one color at a time process. Each color is fired into the glass at temperatures above 1100F degrees. Imported. “There is nothing else like it in the world!” Click here to view the Glassmasters collection.
