Fenton USA Presents. . . French Opalescent Glass!

3'' Bunny Figurine

5'' Stylized Cat Figurine, $45.00

7-1/2'' Square Vase, $115.00

Welcome summer into your home with these lovely, handpainted selections from our latest offering: Summer Bling! French Opalescent glass provides the perfect canvas for Kim Barley's lush, vibrant handpainted floral design. The figurines are a great way to start someone collecting handcrafted, made in America, Fenton glass! Figurine collectors will want to add these delightful new creations to their collection. Each handpainted piece has the signature of the talented Fenton artist who completed it.

3-3/4'' Songbird Figurine, $39.50

For nearly three decades (1880-1910) Opalescent glass was at the forefront of the American glass tableware industry. When Fenton first began to make glass in 1907, opalescent colors were among our initial products. The secret ingredient that makes this magical color was originally called bone ash. The glass must be carefully chilled for a selected number of seconds and then reheated to create the desired opalescent effect. As you can see, Fenton artisans have mastered these techniques.
